There will be a change at the top of the operating business of Procter & Gamble (P&G) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland: From 1 July 2021, Astrid Teckentrup (54) will assume overall responsibility for the operating business of the global consumer goods company in the DACH region.

Her predecessor Franz-Olaf Kallerhoff (58) will retire on 30 November after 33 years with the company and after six and a half years at the helm of the DACH region and will move on to other tasks outside the company. P&G is filling the position at the head of the DACH region, one of the largest and most important markets for P&G worldwide, with a proven sales and transformation expert from its own ranks.

As Senior Vice President Sales, Astrid Teckentrup has been responsible for business relations with retail partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2015. She is responsible for local business and for the regional and, in some cases, global activities of German trading companies. She is also responsible for a major global customer on a global level.

Astrid Teckentrup began her career at P&G in 1991 after graduating from EBS Business School, where she worked in London and Paris. Over the course of her career, Teckentrup has held leading positions at P&G, including in the areas of global key account development, business unit management for beauty and grooming and integration of acquired companies.

„With Astrid Teckentrup, an internationally experienced and highly recognised retail expert is taking over responsibility for one of P&G's most important markets. P&G will benefit from her profound understanding of the transformation processes on its path to a successful future. At the same time, we would like to thank Franz-Olaf Kallerhoff for his extremely successful commitment to our company. Under his leadership, P&G has made excellent progress in the DACH region in an extremely challenging environment. We would like to thank him for his outstanding performance in every respect and wish him all the best for the new phase of his life. Franz-Olaf Kallerhoff is leaving the company in deepest friendship.“
