PulPac appoints new Chief Technology Officer

PulPac has appointed Charlotte Walldal as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). She brings experience in research, development and innovation from the medical technology, FMCG and paper industries and took up her position on 3 June.

PulPac has appointed Charlotte Walldal as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). She brings global experience in research, development and innovation from the medical technology, FMCG and paper industries and took up her position on 3 June.

With over 20 years in leading positions in the global hygiene and healthcare industry and most recently in the MedTech sector, Charlotte Walldal has demonstrated exceptional and results-orientated leadership skills, coupled with a commitment to sustainability and the promotion of new technologies. Her expertise will be crucial, when PulPac further develops and expands its dry moulded fibre technology, which offers sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics.

Charlotte Walldal was most recently Global R&D Director at the MedTech company XVIVO, where she was responsible for the Product development and the sustainability/ESG strategies of the company. Prior to that, she had a long career in leadership positions at global hygiene and healthcare companies SCA/Essity, where she held senior positions as Vice President of R&D, including product, material and packaging development, and intellectual property.
