Under Regulation (EU) 2021/2117, which came into force last December, all wine producers and suppliers in the EU must provide retailers with the most accurate and up-to-date nutritional and ingredient information possible, which is difficult given wine's tendency to change its composition. Compliance with the „EU Wine Regulation“, as it is commonly known, requires the collection of up-to-date data for each batch of wine using scannable QR codes. With the Markem-Imaje solution, these codes can be scanned quickly and easily. during production on paper or plastic labels are generated.

As the CoLOS software is fully integrated into the Lunelli Group's ERP system, the The data retrieved via the QR code on the bottle label is automatically uploaded to the production line. The software also takes into account the frequent need for variations due to different label designs and thus adapts to the specific needs of each brand.
