Quadpack, international manufacturer of cosmetics packaging, is expanding its ShapeUp range with an innovative mono-material tube. The tube allows creams to be dispensed in personalised shapes, which not only simplifies application but also offers a creative application experience.

Quadpack has expanded its ShapeUp product line with a new mono-material tube. According to the company, this tube is not only environmentally friendly, but also offers a way of dispensing cosmetic products in a personalised form. The contents are applied in various patterns such as a sun, flower or logo, which is intended to turn the daily skincare routine into a creative experience. Thanks to a special attachment on the tube head, the cosmetics can be stamped or spread directly onto the skin in the desired shapes when the tube is pressed.

The tube is suitable for various applications, including hand creams, sunscreen, hair wax or blush, and is a real eye-catcher, especially on social media. The possibility of brand personalisation is one of the main strengths of the ShapeUp tube. The use of ready-made attachments such as sun or flower patterns eliminates the need to develop expensive, customised designs. Brands can also have their own patterns created to support their specific storytelling.

The monomaterial tube is made of polyethylene (PE) and can be filled with up to 50 % recycled material (PCR-PE). It is available in various lengths and holds between 20 and 80 ml. For formulations that require additional protection, Quadpack offers a five-layer version with an EVOH barrier that can contain up to 40 % PCR-PE. All variants are designed to allow easy filling without leakage.

Customised design options

In addition to the shape of the cosmetics dispensed, the tube offers numerous customisation options. Customers can choose between matte, glossy or soft-touch finishes. It is also possible to customise the colour of the tube to further personalise the dispensing experience. The signal colour on the tube top draws attention to the dispensed sample and gives the application an additional sensory dimension.

Expansion of the ShapeUp family

The new tube complements the ShapeUp Stick product launched a year ago and expands the product line, which specialises in the personalisation of cosmetics packaging. The focus here is on a creative and sustainable application experience that is attractive to both brands and consumers.
