The Danish machine manufacturer Qupaq set a world record at interpack: More than 1000 trays were destacked in one minute. CSO Stefan Lendzian spoke to us about this.
We all know food products that are packaged in trays with film and labels and organised on the shelves of local markets. Tray denesting specialist Qupaq broke the barrier at Interpack: 1,000 trays denested in 60 seconds.
By breaking the 1,000 trays per minute barrier with an automated tray denesting tool, Qupaq aims to raise awareness of optimisation in food production and highlight the level of innovation required to improve performance in the industry. In fact, automating the denesting process is a simple optimisation that benefits everyone in the value chain.
