With the Future Disc Top, Aptar Closures is introducing a recyclable closure that also meets the requirements of e-commerce and is suitable for cosmetics and beauty packaging. The company uses polyethylene for this.

The Future Disc Top is made entirely from polyethylene (PE), one of the world's most recycled packaging materials, and enables brand owners to, offer more recyclable packaging for a wide range of products. It is the first of its kind on the market and helps to solve the problem of packaging made from mixed materials where only the container itself can be recycled. To ensure full recyclability, Future Disc Top should be combined with a suitable PE or PET bottle. In addition to its more sustainable design, the Future Disc Top has been developed to deliver the Guarantee quality, safety and aesthetics. In addition, the Future Disc Topis Amazon is ISTA-6 compliant and well suited for e-commerce shipping. It has a integrated locking/unlocking ring, that securely seals the contents of the bottle while it withstands the rigours of the e-commerce supply chain to the consumer's doorstep. This ensures that consumers receive their order intact and ready to use, without the need for excessive third-party packaging such as shrink-wrap and bubble wrap, while avoiding the increasing number of returns due to packaging errors and leaking products.
