„With its new and innovative product line, Nestlé would like to Maggi Würzquickies a younger target group appeal. It was a great honour for us to work with the Maggi team to develop a design that is as eye-catching as it is imaginative and functional. We are therefore particularly pleased that the work is not only appreciated by the customer, but has now also been recognised with two of the most important design awards.“ Christoph Waldau, CEO of B+P Creality

With lively illustrations, a clear colour concept with striking brand positioning and a cheeky, narrative text concept the Berliners are aiming for a completely new product experience and emphasising Maggi's claim to contemporary spice blending expertise. „The result is the joint success of B+P Creality and Nestlé. Strategy, naming and design were developed together in the best teamwork,“ emphasises Waldau.

The folding boxboard conveys a natural, rough feel on the outside, while the glossy, coated and fully designed and printed inside provides the „wow" moment when opening. "More The desire to unpack and read package information is not possible,“ says Christoph Waldau. Thanks to the viewing window punched into the back, consumers can also make eye contact with the practical glass spice shaker at an early stage.

„We have been developing holistic packaging since 1992. We combine not only design and brand strategy under one roof, but also engineering. We were able to make excellent use of this combined expertise for Nestlé and the Maggi Würzquickies. The Red Dot Award and the German Design Award reflect this - and are not only a welcome recognition, but also a further Motivational kick for current and future projects“, says Christoph Waldau.
