AMKmotion combines innovation with tradition and focusses on constantly revising and further developing proven technology. The result is compatibility and long service lives for control units, drives and motors. This year, the developer and manufacturer of electric drive systems is focussing on the topic of total cost of ownership: Users benefit from lower costs without having to do without the latest technology.
In Nuremberg, the drive specialist will be showcasing compatible new devices as well as further developments to existing drive technology, such as its brand new ihD. The decentralised servo inverter with single-cable wiring in daisy-chain technology transmits power, STO (Safe Torque Off), 24 volts and communication in a single cable. Compared to a centralised drive concept This reduces cabling costs by up to 70 per cent. AMKmotion has also integrated the control electronics on the servomotor, which further reduces the amount of cabling required for the ihD-DT5. The device has a robust aluminium housing, an IP65 protection rating and allows a triple overload for one second.
With the LD synchronised servo motor, the company is presenting another highlight. It offers a High power density and high efficiency. Thanks to its low moment of inertia, the LD accelerates very quickly and thus increases the productivity of the machine. It also impresses with its greater robustness and more energy-efficient behaviour. The durable drive is therefore particularly suitable for Highly dynamic cyclical positioning of small masses.
The presentation is rounded off by a further optimised, fully web-based and platform-neutral engineering tool. With Aipex 5 you can Configure, parameterise and diagnose applications. The tool offers tools for commissioning as well as analysis methods such as Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) and filter settings for automatic adaptation of mechanical and electrical sections.
