The INTUITY metal detection coil from Bizerba can be used in both dry and wet areas and reliably detects metal contaminants trapped in products or bulk goods. The metal detection system generates an electromagnetic field in the coil area to ensure foreign object-free goods.
With the help of the Multi-simultaneous frequency technology the metal detection device checks packaged or unpackaged goods with at least two frequencies for residues of steel, stainless steel, iron or non-ferrous metals. Each product that passes through the detector leaves behind a specific pattern. Deviations indicate contamination. Affected products can be ejected via an already installed conveyor belt. Particularly with products such as meat products, which have a high product effect (intrinsic conductivity), the metal search coil shows its strengths.
Innovative control system
The metal detection device is controlled via the innovative user interface INTUITY CONTROL. This allows pre-selection of the products and associated settings that enable a prediction of the ball size to be detected. In addition to a multi-product memory, the device offers HACCP, IFS and BRC-compliant quality monitoring including audit check, password-protected system logbook and menu-guided validation system. It has a high level of mechanical stability and interference resistance and is largely insensitive to vibrations, shocks and temperature fluctuations.
