The stacking corner arose from the need to make the transport of sheet materials such as moulded sheets more sustainable and efficient. Conventional disposable packaging made of polystyrene, cardboard and wood causes high costs and has a negative impact on the environment as it has to be disposed of after use. The stacking aid developed by Fries offers a reusable and recyclable alternative that conserves resources and is environmentally friendly.

The solution was selected from 46 submissions as one of the best transport, outer and sales packaging for commercial end consumers.
