The Gropper dairy has had the use of rPET recyclate certified by the independent „flustix RECYCLED - DIN tested“ seal for its range of PET bottles. The corresponding labelling can be used to communicate with customers at the PoS.
With the successful certification of the use of rPET in bottles with the „flustix RECYCLED - DIN tested“ seal, the well-known player in the beverage and dairy industry is thus offering its customers Transparency for product labelling of their packaging in terms of responsible use of resources.
The long-established dairy's customers include international retail groups as well as the largest German retailers, including LIDL, ALDI, REWE and EDEKA. With this certification, the company, headquartered in Bissingen, ensures that a wide range of packaging is produced as sustainably as possible and is also recognisable to consumers at the point of sale. communicated as a more sustainable alternative to comparable products can be realised.

A particular advantage for retailers who purchase products from Gropper: If they would like to continue to emphasise the use of recycled material on their own brands and communicate this to consumers, this is possible with a simple quick procedure. „Buyers can label their products produced by Gropper and now sub-certify pre-certified own brands. This offers food retailers, for example, the opportunity to use the recognised seal and thus demonstrate to their customers their commitment to sustainability with this packaging, also in the context of the forthcoming EU Green Claims Directive. communicate with a certified seal“, says Malte Biss, founder of the flustix-initiative.

The flustix RECYCLED certification covers the recycled content of 50 per cent & 100 per cent rPET (PCR) in all transparent and light blue rPET bottles of Gropper products in 14 sizes between 90 ml and 1500 ml. With this step, the Gropper dairy is once again demonstrating the high value it places on ecological responsibility, which the company already lives and continuously promotes in many facets.
