At interpack 2017, Robatech will be presenting the most important aspects for all-round optimised adhesive application in the packaging industry under the motto „Adhesive bonding in perfection“. The five themed areas are Safety, Global Service, Innovation, Industry 4.0 and Green Efficiency. A theme island at the stand is dedicated to each of these segments.
The newly developed Concept Stream, with which Robatech is expanding the range of its proven Concept line. The innovative melting process further optimises the gluing process with a fast heat-up time and increased operator safety. Concept Stream is the „tankless“ solutionsg for melting and conveying thermoplastic adhesives in granulate form. The melter, which is designed for on-demand processing, can be used in a wide range of industrial applications.
GreenLine technology for the gluing process
The system is based on the tried-and-tested Concept 5 with GreenLine technology for an energy-efficient and safe gluing process. The centrepiece is the small high-performance tank, which has been designed for maximum melting capacity (8 kg/h). The very short heat-up time of 16 minutes to 160 °C and the standby function guarantee that the system is always ready for use. Fast availability of the system. The fill level monitoring with unique idle monitoring stops the system before no more adhesive is applied. As part of the GreenLine family, the Concept Stream is also energy-optimised. Thanks to the CoolTouch insulation on the tank, pump and glue distributor is a Energy saving of over 20 per cent compared to the standard version are possible.
