Robatech AG from Muri in Switzerland will be exhibiting its new adhesive application system for gluing primary and secondary packaging at Fachpack.
Energy-efficient, repeatable and reliable packaging can be produced with the Vision smart melter, the new heated hose Performa and the SpeedStar Compact application head. All three system components from Robatech make work easier for machine builders and users with special features.
Adhesive application system with special features
A smart terminal on the melter displays current operating and status information. It can be seen from a distance whether the gluing process is running smoothly or whether adhesive needs to be refilled. The PrimeConnect plug-in coupling is used to connect the heated hose Plug-and-play process without special tools connected. The fully insulated coupling eliminates possible cold bridges.
The electric spray head applies millimetre-sized hot melt dots and short beads precisely to tiny tabs and small surfaces. The automatic stroke control ensures consistent precision in adhesive application over the entire length of the spraying head. Service life of 500 million operating cycles.
