In October 2020, Harry Reuter handed over responsibility for Robos GmbH & Co. KG to the younger generation. At the end of the financial year, he will leave the company, in which he has played an active and leading role for 32 years and has accompanied and initiated many changes.
In order to ensure that the generational changeover of the medium-sized, family-run company runs smoothly, a Succession planning were made. Simon Reuter and Daniel Sugg took over the management of the company in spring 2019. Both had previously worked for the company for many years as authorised signatories.
Robos has been supplying its customers with special labelling products and advising on unusual applications for 60 years. An anniversary that the company is not celebrating due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since 1988, Harry Reuter has been Managing Director of Robos GmbH & Co. KG. Since 1990 the Supplier of customised adhesive labels based in Kornwestheim. Reuter has now handed over the management of the company to Simon Reuter and Daniel Sugg.
The handover is the result of a process that has been in preparation for some time, reports Robos. The succession plan at the medium-sized company, which was founded in 1960, had already been initiated last year. The two new managers have already been with the company for many years as authorised signatories. Daniel Sugg was in charge of the introduction of digital printing in 2004 and is responsible for the further development of the Technology and Production division. Simon Reuter manages sales and human resources.
Harry Reuter will look after key accounts in future
Harry Reuter will remain with Robos GmbH & Co. KG. From now on, he will be looking after long-standing and well-known customers as Key Account Manager and will be on hand to advise the new managing directors with his experience. Robos honours his work by pointing out, among other things, that he laid the foundations for the company's growth in 1990 by merging administration and production. In 1988, Robos employed 13 men and women. In the meantime, almost 90 employees work in Kornwestheim.
Product portfolio was gradually expanded
Reuter also expanded the product portfolio by integrating new Printing and production technologies. Robos originally produced exclusively Screen printed labels. Robos now also offers Letterpress printing, Flexo and digital printing and, since the beginning of the millennium, booklet production. In 1992, Reuter also founded the subsidiary Folit GmbH, of which he will remain Managing Director.
