Romaco Group: new Vice President Sales & Service

Pietro Tomasi has been appointed the Romaco Group's new Vice President Sales & Service and will be responsible for the Romaco Group's global sales and service activities.

Pietro Tomasi is to become the Romaco Group's new Vice President Sales & Service. He succeeds Gary Kedgley, who is retiring. Pietro Tomasi is responsible for the Romaco Group's global sales and service activities.

Romaco Holding has appointed Pietro Tomasi as its new Vice President Sales & Service. He succeeds Gary Kedgley, who has held the position since 2006 and will retire at the end of 2019. The Romaco Group's management would like to thank him for his valuable contribution to the Marketing of the pharmaceutical machine manufacturer's products.

Pietro Tomasi has headed the Romaco Group's global sales and service organisation since July 2019. He is responsible for the expansion and further development of both the international Romaco Sales & Service Centres (SSC) and the Group's global agent network. The aim is to Strong local presence of the provider around the globe so that customers can benefit directly from the expertise of the solid product specialist.

From service technician to Vice President

Pietro Tomasi was born in the Italian province of Ravenna and began his professional career in the 1980s as a Service technician at IMA in Bologna. At the beginning of the 1990s, he moved to the sales department of the Marchesini Group, an Italian supplier of pharmaceutical packaging machines.

After spending several years abroad in England and setting up the commercial branch there, he took on more and more responsibility over the years for the expansion and organisation of international sales structures. Before moving to Romaco, he was head of global sales for the Italian group of companies for almost two decades.
