At Warsaw Pack 2024, Rovema will be exhibiting a vertical packaging machine with a high output for coffee, which processes alternative packaging materials without significant loss of output and is designed for a wide range of bag formats.
The Rovema BVC 260 vertical packaging machine enables coffee to be packed quickly and reproducibly without any significant loss of performance when using alternative packaging materials. Up to 70 stable, fully recyclable coffee packs with flavour valve per minute can be produced. Rovema's packaging solutions are designed for maximum output and maximum flexibility. They use sustainable packaging materials as standard and produce a wide variety of bag shapes on just one machine.
The BVC 260 is specially designed for packaging coffee and can process ground coffee, coffee beans, agglomerated or freeze-dried coffee gently and accurately by weight. For coffee applications that require a degassing valve, the machine is equipped with the particularly high-performance Rovema Valve applicator for button valves equipped. In conjunction with a mono-PP packaging material, the BVC 260 achieves an output of up to 70 pouches per minute with a filling weight of 250 g.
At the Warsaw Pack trade fair, Rovema will be presenting a fully recyclable coffee pack with a button valve that can also be easily retrofitted to existing BVC machines. Both the valve and the packaging material itself are made of a polypropylene mono-material. For an output of up to 70 packs per minute, the recyclable Wipf Wicovalve W109PP disposable degassing valve for coffee beans is applied ultrasonically to the machine-compatible Hatzopoulos X Cycle packaging material (89 my).
