Andrea Grandi took over the role of General Manager of the Sacmi Group on 1 January. He succeeds Mauro Fenzi, whose mandate ended on 31 December 2024.
The 49-year-old electronics engineer joined Sacmi in 2001. In a career spanning almost 25 years, Andrea Grandi has held increasingly important positions within the Group and has made a name for himself with his Technical and business expertise in the fields of mechatronics and industrial automation.
He spent his first 18 years in the Special Pressing business unit and as PU Manager Metals. In 2020, he became General Manager of the Advanced Technologies BU. Over the past three years, he has held the key positions of Operations and Plant Manager and then Corporate Product Supply Manager, demonstrating his talent for operations management and innovation development.
In addition to his functions at Sacmi, Andrea Grandi is Member of the founding committee of UCIMU (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machine Tools, Robots and Automation). He was also a former member of the technical committee of the Italian Metallurgy Association AIM.
