Schäfer & Flottmann presents new high-performance carton erector

At this year's FachPack, Schäfer & Flottmann GmbH, a manufacturer of packaging systems specialising in dairy products and beverages, will be exhibiting a new, fully servo-driven carton erector. 

The new SFS 350 carton erector produces up to 60 cartons per minute from flat blanks, which are folded around a mandrel and glued using the wrap-around method. The system offers a high degree of format flexibility in the Production of cardboard boxes in square and octagonal design. The quick and easy format changeover is carried out via spindles or fully automatically via servomotors.

With a modular machine portfolio, the medium-sized family business based in Gevelsberg focuses in particular on applications for dairy products and beverages. In addition to servomotor-driven carton and tray erectors, the portfolio also includes packaging systems with integrated robot technology for packing and palletising systems. Special, project-related specifications are customised through an individual combination of modular functional units.
