Schmersal has developed a new series of safety light grids and safety light curtains for use in hygiene-sensitive areas. The SLC/SLG IP69K series is suitable for applications in the food industry, the pharmaceutical industry or in meat and milk processing.
The new Light grid are designed in protection class IP 69K and therefore resist the ingress of water during high-pressure and steam jet cleaning. These are ideal conditions for the desired areas of application. The seals of the light grids withstand frequent cleaning with water, alkaline solutions and foam, Superheated steam or High pressure from.
The Sealing caps, the cable entries and the fastening parts are made from Stainless steel manufactured. The transparent Protective tube consists of Polycarbonate (PC) and is highly resistant to cleaning agents and robust against mechanical stress.
