„A very special thank you to all the employees who have worked over many months to ensure that we can celebrate the opening of the new production site today,“ said Roland Schreiner in his speech, „Our goal now is to ramp up capacities in a soundly planned and professional manner. In the final expansion stage, we will handle a significant proportion of our labels for the pharmaceutical industry in Dorfen.

The Dorfener Mayor Heinz Grundner sees every reason to be pleased: „We are delighted to welcome Schreiner Group, a modern family business, as a new employer in our town.“

Further plants provide jobs

The biggest challenges in setting up the new plant were factory planning and personnel management. „We successfully recruited new skilled workers in the region and at the same time recruited experienced employees from our headquarters for a change. This has resulted in a great team,“ reports Project manager Matthias Meier.

Over the course of the coming year, further screen printing systems including final inspection are to be installed in Dorfen and a line for the production of hang tags for infusion bottles is also to be set up - including pre-inspection, dispensing machine and final inspection.

„At the same time, we will gradually establish a two-shift operation. That is why we are looking for other motivated employees from the region and look forward to receiving qualified applications,“ says Meier.

Company tour provides insights

On Friday, the guests of honour at the Dorfen production site were able to experience live how Schreiner Group produces its innovative high-tech labels. Since the beginning of October, the 11-colour screen printing system and the final inspection machines are running at full speed - the very good order situation does not allow for any delay.

During a tour of the approx. 5,000 square metre building, the site employees explained the individual production steps of their daily work: printing plate production, screen printing, further processing, final inspection, logistics, quality assurance and dispatch.

Schreiner Group places particular emphasis on sustainability and the satisfaction and well-being of its own employees. With a innovative and energy-efficient air conditioning technology in buildings the company also lives up to its high standards in Dorfen.
