The aim of the co-operation is to offer manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and medical devices a broader portfolio of cost-efficient smart labels.
The special feature of the new RFID labels is the Chip made from flexible electronics, which is integrated into Schreiner MediPharm's functional labels. In contrast to conventional silicone chips, the chips from PragmatIC's ConnectIC family are extremely thin and flexible and can be embedded in various substrates.
This makes the solution particularly suitable for Small vessels with very tight radii such as small vials and syringes.
With RFID technology integrated into labels, products or medicines can be labelled according to the Lock-and-key principle uniquely identified, traced and authenticated.
