The confectionery and snack industry thrives on diverse product ranges. With innovative, sustainable, flexible and therefore future-proof packaging solutions, Schubert helps manufacturers to react quickly and easily to changing market requirements. At ProSweets Cologne 2025, the company will be showcasing a blank feeding solution for cartoners and providing information about a new erecting unit with a vertical magazine.
Visitors to the stand can expect to see a TLM cartoner with a single-lane erector that works seamlessly with the Comfort Feeder automated blank feeder. The machine is an example of the Schubert concept „Power Compact - high performance in the smallest space“. Thanks to the Comfort Feeder, the cartoner automatically feeds blanks directly from the pallet. The overall solution is a particularly lean machine concept that combines erecting, filling and closing at up to 60 cycles per minute in one compact system. A small number of system components, lightweight and quickly exchangeable robot tools, some of which are manufactured using 3D printing, and the Comfort Feeder enable Up to five hours of operation without refilling the cardboard blanks - a significant relief for machine operators.
New vertical magazine supports a wide range of packaging formats
In order to further support manufacturers in the packaging of multi-variant product ranges, Schubert has also designed a new vertical magazine in which Blanks of different sizes stacked freely on top of each other - another plus point in terms of flexibility. In addition, a new A3 erecting unit allows cartons to be erected in a single lane. This means that manufacturers require fewer robot units in their line and can therefore realise a more cost-effective overall solution.
Picker lines from Schubert are „the original“
In addition to cartoning machines, innovative pick-and-place machines, flowpackers and complete packaging lines are at the centre of Schubert's portfolio and at the trade fair. What's more, Schubert's picker lines are „the original“ and are still the number one in the food industry today. The company has told the story of Schubert picker lines and why they are „the original“ in the new campaign „Pick the original“. The Schubert experts will be providing detailed information about the tried-and-tested pick-and-place technology at the trade fair stand.
At the trade fair, visitors can find out more about the company's flow-wrapping machines, the process both conventional and sustainable packaging materials for snacks and confectionery and quickly switch between them. These include recyclable mono films made of plastic, as well as paper-based films and robust high-barrier films that protect food packaged in a modified atmosphere from external influences.
