Schubert presents cobot innovation for the first time at Automatica in Munich

Premiere at Automatica: Schubert presents the tog.519, a cobot for pick-and-place applications that combines image processing, AI and robotics into a flexible complete solution - demonstrated live in Hall B5.

Gerhard Schubert GmbH is taking part in Automatica 2025 (24-27 June, Munich) for the first time - and is bringing a technological premiere with it: The Cobot tog.519, an in-house development from Crailsheim, will be demonstrating at stand 530 in hall B5 how AI-supported image recognition, robotics and automation can be combined in a flexible overall system.

The tog.519 combines patented five-axis SCARA kinematics with a vision system developed in-house. This reliably recognises products even if they are unsorted and irregular - the keyword here is „reaching into the mess“. According to the manufacturer, the cobot achieves up to 90 pick-and-place cycles per minute, making it one of the fastest systems in its class.

Live demos with snacks, cosmetics & co.

At the trade fair, two tog.519 cobots will be demonstrating various application scenarios from the food and cosmetics industries:

Display

  • Careful insertion of apple crisp bags into boxes
  • Uprighting and inserting cosmetic bottles into pucks
  • Pick-and-place of products such as bars, lids or pump dispensers

Visitors could bring their own items and have them tested directly under a camera stand to see how the system reacts to them.

Flexible for co-packers and specialists

The tog.519 is particularly interesting for co-packers and manufacturers with changing product formats. Thanks to the intelligent image recognition and simple operation without programming knowledge, new products can be integrated quickly - from baked goods and confectionery to technical components.
