With a modular cartoner including a new vertical magazine and optimised closing tool, Schubert is presenting itself at Ipack-Ima as a flexible solution provider for the food industry.
Gerhard Schubert GmbH will be presenting its latest generation of modular packaging technology at Ipack-Ima 2025 in Milan (27-30 May). The focus of the company's presence in Hall 7, Stand B82 will be a cartoner that is configured as a bar packer at the trade fair - equipped with a vertical magazine for blanks and an ergonomically optimised closing tool.
Vertical magazine for maximum flexibility and replenishment continuity
The system on display demonstrates the interchangeability of modular units: instead of the standard pallet magazine, a vertical magazine with two stacks of blanks is used, which can hold up to 4,000 blanks - enough for 60 minutes of continuous operation. The design allows for ergonomic refilling of the blanks thanks to a height-adjustable magazine table.
A new approach to capping tools: lighter, more robust, easy to maintain
Another new feature is the „Clean Design“ sealing tool, which impresses with around 50 percent less weight and optimised rigidity. The reduced number of parts makes format changes and cleaning easier - a clear advantage for customers with changing product formats or hygienically sensitive applications, according to the company.
The machine on display processes four bars in two layers into saleable cartons - with an output of up to 60 cycles per minute.
