The water-based Truepress Jet520HD+ injector press from Screen increases productivity and reduces CO2 emissions.

The Truepress Jet520HD+ from Screen increases productivity and reduces CO2 emissions at the same time. The new inject printing technology will be presented at Hunkeler Innovationsdays 2023.

Under the motto „Creating a Future in Print Screen Europe will be exhibiting two of its most innovative products at this year's Hunkeler Innovationdays (HID) in Lucerne. These include the Truepress Jet520HD+ with the latest generation of Screens SC+ ink and the brand-new Truepress PAC 520P. This high-speed digital printing press for water-based inkjet printing, which Specially designed for flexible packaging uses Screen's newly developed water-based pigment inks, which comply with the relevant food safety regulations. As a result it reduces the environmental impact compared to conventional, analogue printing processes.

Screen will also be showing the fruits of its collaboration with Solimar Systems to optimise production processes. It enables a Greater automation and labour savings while reducing production losses and errors in the printing process.

With the newly introduced SC+ ink, the Truepress Jet520HD+ is the most reliable and productive press on the market. It will be demonstrated with the Hunkeler CS8 rotary cutter at HID 2023, which takes place from 27 February to 2 March in Lucerne (Switzerland).

„Our Truepress Jet520HD+ offers high print quality on standard offset paper with high throughput. It also enables variable data printing and print-on-demand in short runs. Since its market launch a few years ago, it has been successfully used by more than 100 users. In addition, it has already been shown that inkjet printing with Screen's SC inks is possible on coated glossy, semi-gloss and matt offset paper without pre-treatment.“

Screen developed the Truepress PAC 520P in response to the market trend towards reducing the amount of plastic in packaging. This High-speed digital printing machine for water-based inkjet printing has a far lower environmental impact than conventional printing processes, which is due to a reduction in energy and material consumption. Based on Screen's more than ten years of experience in inkjet printing, the Truepress PAC 520P uses newly developed proprietary water-based pigment inks that minimise the environmental impact of inkjet printing. comply with the relevant food safety regulations for sustainable flexible packaging. The system will be characterised by first-class print quality and security and will maintain high throughput.
