Screen wins EDP Award for label printer

The Japanese printer manufacturer Screen has won this year's award for label printers from the European Digital Press Association.

Japanese printer manufacturer Screen has won this year's award for label printers from the European Digital Press Association. The Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S model was honoured for its user-friendly software and improved print quality and speed.

"This prestigious award recognises our commitment, support our label printing customers in continuously increasing efficiency and productivity - through greater reliability and continuous innovation. This enables them to gain a competitive advantage and establish themselves as pioneers in label printing," explains Taishi Motoshige, Marketing Director of Screen Europe.

Launched in 2020, the printer is based on the Plus series, a high-productivity UV inkjet label press, but enables the reproduction of far more spot colours. The machine prints on substrates with a width of up to 350 millimetres and has a printing speed of up to 60 metres per minute. To date, Screen has sold more than 200 machines from its L350 series.
