Sealpac GmbH's presence at this year's trade fair will focus on solutions that cater to the current skin trend, as well as traysealers and thermoformers that impress with their high performance, particular flexibility and durable design. The Oldenburg packaging specialist will also be represented as part of the Innovationparc Packaging SAVE FOOD initiative with a product premiere, an innovative solution for fruit and vegetables.
With the TraySkin® process developed by Sealpac, the packaged goods are skinned directly into the packaging tray with a highly transparent skin film in a particularly gentle way. The secure fixation always ensures a perfect appearance, even when presented vertically. For the products, this means more freshness, better quality and a longer shelf life. The company is also presenting a completely new Innovative TraySkin® packaging format.

The two chambers of a double tray, separated by a perforation, are individually sealed with the OnTrayCut contour cut specially developed by Sealpac for the TraySkin process.
PerfoLid for fruit and vegetables
PerfoLid is a genuine product innovation presented in partnership with the companies Naber Plastics B.V. and PerfoTec B.V.: The Breathable packaging ensures optimum shelf life, maximum freshness and therefore less spoilage of fruit and vegetables. The basic idea behind the development is a controlled oxygen supply through a special laser perforation of the top film, which is customised to the respective product. The PerfoLid packaging under EMAP (Equilibrium Modified Atmosphere Packaging) consists of a tray with a resealable lid and is produced according to the multi-award winning EasyLid® process produced. Special trays are fitted with a perforated lid ring and hermetically sealed with a film. A reliable seal is created in just one production step, from which the lid is formed when the tray is opened for the first time.
