For the increasingly popular combination of secure remote access and data visualisation, visualisation expert Bachmann Visutec and security manufacturer Endian are using their synergies to offer a new high-performance solution.
By linking the Endian Secure Digital Platform and the visualisation tool Atvise can be used to realise the secure networking of machines as well as the display and analysis of data. Both manufacturers consistently rely on standards: HTML5 ensures absolute platform independence and eliminates the need for client installations, as the user interface can be launched in any browser. OPC UA as an open communication standard enables seamless data exchange.
The Secure Digital Platform stands for the Modern technological linking of IT security with the Internet of Things. It is certified in accordance with the IEC 62443 industry standard and consists of IoT security gateways and the switchboard, the platform's central management tool. Endian IoT security gateways are used to connect machines and systems to the internet.
The visualisation tool from Bachmann is based on pure web technology and OPC UA. The graphic objects are implemented as vector graphics and can be scaled without loss. Consistent Object-orientation and online engineering reduce engineering times drastically. Atvise enables particularly user-friendly touch gestures such as zoom or pan. As the full range of OPC UA functions is supported, installations can be cascaded at the touch of a button using "Alarms & Conditions" or "Historical Access". This enables a seamless data exchange across several levels.
