Securikett presents a solution for sustainable and ecological labels with its It's Paper solutions. The company is now expanding the range to include another label with an opening tab and a peel-off barrier.
The product range of sustainable and environmentally friendly security labels from Securikett has recently introduced another innovation. „Equipped with an opening flap and a peel-off barrier, the new paper security seals not only offer innovative technical functions, but also achieve a very effective security effect for consumers through their visual appearance when they are removed“ says Werner Horn, managing partner of Securikett, with conviction.
„The non-adhesive opening tab allows consumers to easily and conveniently remove the label without using a tool such as a knife or scissors. Consumers are invited by arrow symbols and the word „OPEN“ to peel off the label at the opening tab.“

However, the paper security labels have not only been optimised for the consumer side. Also with regard to a Improved circular economy the R&D team has thought about this and has developed a Peel-off barrier built into the label. „This prevents the label from being completely detached from the packaging and thus both components, i.e. the packaging together with the label, from being recycled,“ explains Ms Mitterer.
„With the new PaperVOID labels, we are able to customise our products even better to the needs of our customers. The integrated opening tab makes the use of paper security labels even more attractive, while at the same time making a positive contribution to the circular economy and optimising the recycling process for paper and cardboard packaging.“
The multi-award-winning It's Paper series is made from renewable raw materials and 100 per cent green electricity from renewable energies produced.
„Our latest products can be customised to any corporate design. This customisation option not only affects the external appearance of the label, but also the opening effect. The so-called VOID effect, which only becomes visible when the label is peeled off, can be customised with logos or texts. This not only protects the product comprehensively, but also creates an impressive wow effect for the consumer.“
