Securikett and Dust Identity enter into a strategic partnership to develop tamper-evident labels with physical-digital identity. The new solution combines security labels with non-clonable physical markers for maximum product authenticity.
Securikett, the Austrian specialist for tamper-proof labels, and the US company Dust Identity, market leader in the field of physical-digital identities, have announced a strategic cooperation. The aim is to provide a new type of product authentication solution that combines security labels with physical identity technology that cannot be copied. At the heart of this innovation is the combination of Securikett's patented labels and Dust's diamond dust-based marker technology.
New standards in counterfeit protection and traceability
By integrating the Dust system into Securikett's security labels, each labelling becomes a unique, permanent identity. This can be digitally verified and linked to product information, compliance data and traceability systems - without the risk of imitation or reconstruction. The resulting physical-digital bridge is considered tamper-proof and also supports regulatory requirements, such as the digital product passport (DPP) or proof of sustainability.
For sensitive and high-quality product areas
The new solution is aimed at manufacturers in particularly sensitive industries: Automotive, electronics, luxury goods, pharmaceuticals and the public sector. The technology protects against counterfeit products, grey market sales and unauthorised reuse. Diamond dust and cloud verification
Dust Identity's markers consist of microscopically small diamond particles that are fixed to the label in a unique arrangement - a physical „fingerprint“ that cannot be reproduced. The company's cloud-based platform enables fast and secure verification. In combination with Securikett's Codikett platform, a seamless solution for traceability, authentication and compliance is created.
