In addition to the actuators with protection class IP 67, Lenord+Bauer, as a specialist in the field of motion sensors and integrated drive technology, now offers a solution for applications where IP 54 is sufficient.

The compact design, which has proven itself on the market, has been retained. The battery-free absolute encoder, which is used in all SeGMo products, is also used in the new drive. Thanks to SeGMo-Positioning GEL 6009, projects for automated format adjustment now pay for themselves much more quickly than before. It can also increase productivity and reduce the workload for operators in applications where full automation was previously avoided for cost reasons. Thanks to IO-Link, the actuator can be easily integrated into the control system. Support for the simple IO-Link cable topology offers advantages when using the new actuator in combination with the company's digital position indicators. Both the SeGMo-Assist displays and the GEL 6009 can each be operated with just one cable on an IO-Link master. This simplifies the project planning of systems, as only the end device needs to be selected according to the desired level of automation. The existing IO-Link hardware, i.e. IO-Link master and cabling, remains unchanged. (Image shows partial and full automation in an IO-Link network). In future, the GEL 6009 will also be available with integrated Industrial Ethernet fieldbus interfaces.
