With the new InsertBox Connect, Rose Plastic offers packaging specially developed for storing and transporting individual indexable inserts. Various insert geometries cover a wide range of insert sizes and there is no need for foam at all.
In order to protect sensitive cutting inserts such as PCD and CBN indexable inserts, good padding is the first choice for packaging. Not so with the InsertBox Connect: It can be completely dispense with foam inserts, The centring insert and spacer rings in the base and lid of the box prevent the cutting edges from coming into contact with the surrounding plastic. In the closed box the locating pin is stabilised by an additional fixation in the cover and thus remains intact even after heavy impacts.
InserBox Connet can be combined in a variety of ways
Another advantage is the practical plug-in function, to which the box owes its name „Connect“. The individual boxes can be connected to each other on all sides. This means that Combine sets in any size. This reduces the variety of packaging, minimises the effort involved in ordering and also saves storage space. And the clever plug-in function also provides many variation options. InsertBox Connect is also available without a tool holder, making it extremely versatile.
The box is in two sizes offered. According to the company, it is easy to recycle due to the mono-material used, and the box is also available in a version made from post-consumer recyclate (PCR).
