As a supplier of modern shredding and processing systems, Getecha will be showcasing automated complete solutions for feeding and filling technology at K 2022. In particular, the company will be providing information on the shredding and resource-saving reuse of processing waste from injection moulding, extrusion, thermoforming and blow moulding technology.
„The realisation of project and customer-specific shredding and recycling solutions for plastics processors and recycling companies is at the heart of our expertise. At this year's K trade fair, we will be using our exhibits to demonstrate what this means in concrete terms and the extent to which we can automate processes.“
Eva Rosenberger, the sales manager and shareholder of Getecha
Getecha shows the services it now offers as a plant manufacturer, system integrator and engineering partner. The focus is on six different shredding solutions that are used in injection moulding, extrusion, thermoforming and blow moulding technology as well as in the processing of post-consumer waste.
Among other things, the company will be presenting an RS 30090-E at this year's K. It is used as a top performer in material preparation for cutting grid shredding in thermoforming. At the trade fair, it will be presented with a knurled infeed and with a self-adjusting bow control (dancer) However, it can also be optionally equipped with other infeed systems, such as automatic speed control. Thanks to all-round sound insulation, the RS 30090-E on show at the K is suitable for use close to production. It has a powerful three-blade rotor and a drive line of 30 kW. Getecha has equipped it with an additional water cooling system for shredding temperature-sensitive plastics.
„The large feed rollers also make it possible to feed in parts that have not been punched out together with the punching grid film, and with an additional reject part hopper, the granulator can also pick up misshapen parts from production. With this RotoCutter, the user receives a compact and highly efficient state-of-the-art shredding solution.“
Eva Rosenberger
The company is presenting a RotoCutter RS 38060 A with a drive power of 22 kW as a shredding unit for blow moulding operations. This is a Universally applicable central granulator, the trade fair version of which is designed for the size reduction of containers of up to 60 dm³ and their slugs. is designed. It has a large feed hopper and is a maintenance-friendly solution for the user, as its screen carriage runs on rollers and can be removed completely and easily without tools. „Other advantages of this grinder include the optimised rotor and the hand hydraulics, which allow the hopper to be opened effortlessly,“ says Eva Rosenberger.
The GRS 180 granulator is a universal solution for shredding sprues and faulty parts from injection moulding. With its 2.2 kW drive and an hourly throughput of up to 35 kg, it sets the standard for shredding small to medium volumes. It is smooth-running and robust and is currently used in over 500 customised designs. The GRS 180 is also suitable for productions that are subject to strict hygiene and cleanliness requirements, as their integrated extraction system and optimised sealing technology hardly any particles are released (<1.0 µm). A special hopper with an automatic double-slide mechanism also allows sprues and residues to be injected without splashing back.
