On 18 July, Sidel announced the acquisition of Cognac Moules Emballages Plastqiues (COMEP), a French designer and manufacturer of PET blow moulds, further strengthening the Group in the manufacture of blow moulds and tooling.

COMEP was founded in 1998 with a focus on the design and manufacture of blow moulds for PET bottles. Based in Salles d'Angles, France, and with over 20 years of experience in this industry, COMEP today produces Over 4,000 blow moulds per year for its customers all over the world. With around 60 employees, the company was a pioneer in the field of low blow moulding technologies.
Expansion for a continuous focus on packaging quality
