
With the acquisition of Makro Labelling Srl, the Sidel Group is expanding its range of modern labelling technologies and extending its reach in key market segments. The manufacturer of modular labelling machines will continue to develop internationally as an autonomous business unit of the Sidel Group.

Sidel has been developing labelling solutions for 40 years. The company has its own labelling machine factory in Mantua, where it has developed further developed the Sidel labelling technologies, which achieve outputs of 90,000 containers per hour.

Makro Labelling is a company for modular labelling machines that was founded in 2009 by five partners who are still pioneers of the company today and bring 30 years of experience to the table. The Makro machines can label up to five items per bottle - by cold or hot glue labelling, as adhesive labels or with combined processes. The company is based in Goito (Mantua, Italy) and employs over 120 people.
