SIG has entered into a strategic partnership with DPA Brasil, a leading company in the chilled dairy segment, to strengthen its activities in the Brazilian market. Since the beginning of 2024, the company has taken over the production of spouted pouches for the Chamyto brand yoghurt line.
The packaging solution, consisting of prefabricated stand-up pouches with closure (SIG CloverCap 85RO) and the SIG Prime 120 filling system, is intended to help DPA offer lightweight, robust and easy-to-handle packaging, which make product consumption very easy. Chamyto yoghurt in the strawberry flavour is the first product from DPA Brasil to be offered in a SIG stand-up pouch with a seal. Other flavours are to follow.
