By popular demand, we are now also putting our reading corner online. The book tips from the packaging journal are now also regularly published here.
To borrow a phrase from Loriot: Is a life without packaging possible - and does it make sense? This extraordinarily wide-ranging book examines the possibilities for reducing the use of plastic packaging for food from a wide variety of perspectives.
After all, the 21 articles were written by 35 authors from various disciplines. Although the dominance of the „unpackaged shop lobby“ cannot be overlooked, the inclusion of important packaging experts is missing.
Concise summaries make it easier to study the sometimes very detailed reports. Unfortunately, the thread running through the content breaks from time to time, but the work nevertheless contains numerous approaches that are worthy of discussion, if not goal-oriented.
