Sitma USA, a Tecnau Group company, and Ricoh USA have expanded their collaboration to provide end-to-end packaging, mailing and fulfilment solutions. The collaboration will include sales, integration and service for Sitma's packaging and wrapping technologies.
The US company Sitma develops automated packaging systems for high-volume applications in printing, shipping and e-commerce. Its solutions include modular lines for fulfilment centres, high-speed sorting and systems for integrating printing and finishing workflows. The aim is to automate processes and make them more sustainable, for example through paper-based packaging solutions.
The expanded partnership will allow Ricoh to expand its range of services in the area of end-of-line and mailing solutions, according to the statement. „This collaboration allows us to offer even more comprehensive solutions to our customers in the US and Canada,“ said Derrick Rankin, Vice President Strategic Sales and Business Development at Ricoh Graphic Communications. According to Scott Peterson, Director of Product Marketing at Tecnau and Sitma, the co-operation is „a significant step for both companies“.
