The AX1000 offers cost-efficient servo technology for small to medium power ranges. Despite its compact design, it delivers functions that can be found in larger AX series drive systems and is fully integrated into the TwinCAT system.

With the new AX1000 economy servo amplifier, the Beckhoff its range of servo technology. The AX1000 was designed for applications in the low to medium power range and is characterised by its compact design and complete integration into the TwinCAT system. According to the manufacturer The amplifier combines functionality with a good price-performance ratio.

The AX1000 is available in two versions: for single-phase supply (1 x 230 V AC) in the lower power range and for three-phase supply (3 x 400 V AC) in the higher power range. It supports currents between 1.65 A and 6.9 A. Both variants are available as Single-axle and double-axle modules available. Thanks to its compact design, the amplifier integrates the power supply unit, DC link capacitors and ballast circuits directly into the device. Some models also have a built-in ballast resistor.

The amplifier is compatible with synchronous servomotors from the AM8000 series with One Cable Technology (OCT) as well as with asynchronous and reluctance motors that can be operated with or without feedback. Integration into the TwinCAT system via EtherCAT means that all functions such as TwinCAT Drive Manager 2, autotuning, Bode Plot and cogging compensation are available. These tools are intended to Increase convenience during commissioning, operation and diagnostics.
