Cab, a European manufacturer of labelling devices and systems, uses the combination of print module, labelling device and high-tech sensor to economically implement labelling applications.
If the purchase of a printing and labelling system for marking products or their packaging in production lines is planned, the fundamental question arises: How can the application be implemented in a particularly smart and economical way? The Pressure module PX Q and the Labeller IXOR with the CEON high-tech sensor are successfully combined in industrial and food production, strengthen Tamper Evidence, container filling in rotary systems and logistics.
The PX Q can be adjusted in any position and Integrate into systems at any position. It prints labels in large quantities using the thermal process and holds them for subsequent labelling with the IXOR. The labelling remains legible during processing and storage and is resistant to extreme temperatures, liquids and solvents.
Print resolutions of up to 600 dpi, precise edge definition and high contrast enable the Verification of even small barcodes. If the printed labels need to be transferred to goods with pinpoint accuracy, many conventional labelling systems reach their limits, especially in high-volume applications, with unconventional product shapes or labelling positions that are difficult to access. Not so with the IXOR. The high-torque servo motor keeps pace with any speed and also enables Belt speeds of up to 200 m/min in long-term operation.
It can be mechanically adjusted by means of a modular construction kit on motorised winders and unwinders, release edges and assembly aids on any system. With a housing depth of 54 mm, it fits into a small installation space and the control unit is integrated into the device. With a redundant system „Zero downtime“ possible.
The IXOR is also a networker. LAN and WLAN interfaces enable the Connection to the higher-level control of machines, that are used in the system. MQTT provides Cross-platform communication safe, Modbus, OPC UA and EtherNet/IP are available as options.
For the detection and exact Positioning of even very thin, transparent or metallic materials For diffuser widths of any size, the CEON high-tech sensor on the dispensing edge of the IXOR. This minimises the effect of stretching the material and ensures that the dispensed label is reliably detected.
