Two new smart cameras have been added to Omron's MicroHAWK series. They enable both code reading and visual inspection.
The powerful and yet compact Smart cameras from the MicroHAWK V/F400 and V/F300 series simplify applications by combining code reading and visual inspection in a single, very compact device.
The two devices combine several functions, making the Hardware costs reduced and the Effort for commissioning and maintenance minimised become. Powerful technologies such as a Optional liquid lens autofocus and a High-resolution 5 megapixel colour camera offer high precision and at the same time allow greater flexibility in the layout of the production lines.
The innovative autofocus technology ensures that the camera reliably inspects products, that vary in size, shape or desired test type. In addition, the advanced X-mode algorithms from Omron read any code on any surface, including curved, shiny or otherwise textured materials, minimising downtime and keeping production running smoothly.
Thanks to the compact design of the V/F400 and V/F300 series, they can be easily integrated into devices with limited space or mounted on small robots can be used. Supported communication interfaces include Ethernet/IP and PROFINET for additional flexibility.
