Smart communication of process data

For logistics companies that are driving forward the digitalisation of their organisation, the constant availability of process data is the key to success. The Stuttgart-based company Peakboard shows how easily and efficiently complex supply chain data and processes can be prepared in a comprehensible way and effectively communicated to employees, suppliers and customers in real time.

Peakboard is a All-in-one solution comprising software and hardware for the aggregation of data from a wide variety of sources. The system delivers the information on displays of any size and is primarily used in logistics, production, administration and sales.

Each Peakboard accesses one or more data sources directly via WLAN or LAN, merges the data for visualisation and transmits it to the desired screen via an HDMI cable. Possible data sources range from machines and sensors to Excel and cloud solutions through to ERP systems such as SAP. A Central server is not required, as each Peakboard processes the data decentrally and then visualises it independently, in an individual format and in the corporate design.

Digitisation as plug-and-play

Patrick Theobald, CEO and founder of Peakboard: „In logistics in particular, many processes are directly dependent on whether they are constantly visible to various stakeholders. Speed, agility and easy-to-understand visualisation for every employee are crucial here. As a plug-and-play solution, Peakboard offers all the prerequisites for this, as it provides in-depth insights into ongoing processes without the need to adapt IT infrastructures.”
