Solidus announces the next step to strengthen its competitiveness: Following the financial restructuring earlier this year, Solidus will rationalise its cost structure to restore the company's performance and position itself for further growth, it said.

The entire industry is going through a difficult phase - and Solidus is no exception. Declining demand and rising input costs, such as for gas, energy and CO₂ emissions, are weighing on the company's financial results.

At the beginning of the year, Solidus announced a strategic review of its operational structure. As a result of this review, Solidus will close its production site in Bad Nieuweschans (NL) and reorganise the central administrative functions. Production volumes would be shifted to other plants within the Solidus Group in order to improve production efficiency and capacity utilisation.

With a clearly focused strategy, a streamlined cost structure and new capital, Solidus is well positioned to further expand its strong market position as a specialised provider on national and international markets.
