At Fakuma 2024, Engel will be presenting its latest technological developments that focus on efficiency, digitalisation and sustainability. Visitors can look forward to high-precision injection moulding machines and automation solutions that are specially tailored to the requirements of modern production environments.
With the all-electric e-mac 500, the company presents Angels an injection moulding machine with a clamping force of 5000 kN, which High performance and short cycle times with reduced energy consumption combined. The machine consumes up to 30 per cent less energy than conventional systems and is ideal for energy-intensive production processes.
The tie-bar-less e-victory 100, optimised for liquid silicone processing (LSR), achieves a cycle time of just 12 seconds with a 256-cavity mould. This machine offers Precision and flexibility, especially for medical applications. The company will also be presenting the new generation of t-win machines. The machines offer numerous expansion options, including proportional valves and servo valves, which further increase flexibility and efficiency. At the trade fair, the Production of battery box parts made of ABS demonstrated.
The tie-bar-less victory 160 produces on the Fakuma fittings with a cycle time of 40 seconds. The machine Minimises downtimes and increases productivity thanks to an integrated set-up assistant that enables quick mould changes. At the „inject 4.0“ stand, Engel will be demonstrating how digital assistance systems can optimise production processes. Special highlights include the set-up assistant and an AI-supported spare parts app. Robot solutions that reduce cycle times and simplify operation will be presented in the „Expert Corner for Automation“.
