Dr Gerhard Huber, CEO of Somic Packaging, was appointed to the Federal Economic Senate on 2 August. This enables the company to promote its own interests and become involved in politics, business and society.
The Federal Economic Senate is the excellence committee of the Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (BVMW), the association of small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany. In addition to numerous hidden champions and global market leaders in the German SME sector, the Senate also includes personalities from science, politics, culture and the media. In recognition of his services to the SME sector and in honour of his entrepreneurial achievements, Mr Dr Gerhard Huber appointed to the Federal Economic Senate.
