At Fakuma, ultrasonic special machine manufacturer Sonotronic will be focussing on its ultrasonic table machines and an automation solution for vertical welding and joining tasks.
The iSonic Eco TM ultrasonic table-top machine is available in various versions and drive options, sboth pneumatically and electrically in 20 kHz, 30 kHz and 35 kHz, optionally with accessories such as a sound enclosure, sliding table or film feed unit to ensure maximum efficiency and user-friendliness.
The flexible iSonic Wave XYZ module, an efficient automation solution for vertical welding and joining tasks, will also be presented. The module is a Cost-effective alternative to 6-axis robots and enables flexible customisation of the welding points. In addition to the iSonic Eco TM, the iSonic product family also includes the powerful iSonic Pulse ultrasonic components and other modular ultrasonic assemblies from the iSonic Wave series. With high flexibility and precision, the portfolio offers customised solutions for All requirements in plastics processing - from welding to punching, riveting, embossing and cutting. The ultrasonic welding machine from Pfaff Industriesysteme will also be presented this year.
Innovative connection technology
Another highlight is the MultiMaterial-Welding (MM-Welding) application, which will be shown together with the Bossard Group. This innovative joining technology utilises Sonotronic's ultrasonic tools to liquefy thermoplastic joining elements locally in a fraction of a second and thus produce high-strength bonds in porous materials. The advantages: significantly stronger bonds, easy handling without pre-positioning, clean processing without waste and versatile application possibilities in various industries. With the future-proof ultrasonic technology, Sonotronic also wants to create the possibility of using the plastics processing in a sustainable way.
Since 2023 Sonotronic has been Part of the DA Group. Together with Dürkopp Adler, Pfaff Industriesysteme and KSL, the Group will be demonstrating as a global player how the partners' technologies can be optimally combined to enable high efficiency in production.
