With a combination of autonomous driverless transport systems and strapping machines, Mosca is presenting flexible end-of-line solutions at LogiMat. The company is cooperating with Gebhardt Intralogistics and presenting customers with solutions for limited space.
With fixed paths and bulky conveyor belts, the end of the production line is often still rigid. This makes it difficult for companies to grow in tight production environments. For this challenge Mosca at LogiMat in co-operation with Gebhardt Intralogistics A flexible solution: Live simulation links pallet strapping machine KZV-321 with the autonomous transport system Karis von Gebhardt.
„We are showing just one of the many assembly options here. Thanks to the many possible combinations of AGVs with our strapping machines, the application can be easily adapted to different requirements and can be used, for example, to secure the transport of foodstuffs or in the construction industry.“

The application illustrates the savings potential of this combination: as the self-propelled systems from Gebhardt can also flexibly move to various machines, for example Do not adapt strapping machines with high throughput to the speed of upstream machines. Instead, they can utilise their full capacity and strap products from several lines at the same time.

In the application, autonomous driverless transport systems transport loaded pallets to and into the KZV-321, where the AGVs can reach speeds of up to 1.2 metres per second and transport loads weighing up to 120 kilograms. The pallets are transported using ultrasonic technology emission-free and without warm-up phase. Even stacked pallets can be secured stably and efficiently for transport.
The KZV-321 is suitable for strapping various packages, for example plastic containers, cardboard boxes or softer packaging such as sacks. The strapping can be adjusted to the product height using six strap guide tongues and the compact design makes the KZV-321 suitable for use in the agricultural industry or intralogistics, for example.
The Evolution SoniXs TR-6 Pro processes up to 45 packages per minute. The strapping machine also has various control options: Parameters and strapping programmes can be adjusted manually via an HMI touch panel. Thanks to the integrated network communication interface, the machine can also be controlled via a WebHMI. It offers the option of, View machine-relevant data such as availability, performance and quality in real time. This avoids disruptions and costly interruptions - and makes it easy to optimise packaging processes.
