SPS - Smart Production Solutions returns to Nuremberg from 12 to 14 November 2024 and will demonstrate the innovative strength of the automation industry on an area of 125,000 m². Around 1,200 international companies - including market leaders such as Bosch Rexroth, Siemens and Festo - will showcase the latest developments in the field of automation. For trade visitors, the trade fair offers numerous product presentations, live demonstrations and specialist forums that address key topics in the industry. These include digital transformation, industrial communication, sustainability, AI in automation and safety in production environments.
Another highlight is the joint stand „Automation meets IT“, which presents IT and AI-based solutions and promotes the exchange between automation and IT. The „young Innovators“ stand offers a platform for start-ups and young companies to present their innovations in Hall 8. A pre-event „SPS on Air“ on 24 October will provide initial insights into the trade fair offerings.
SPS is expanding its programme beyond the trade fair period: the „SPS Technology Talks“ enable companies to present current industry topics and discuss them with a specialist audience as part of monthly webinars. The „SPS Insights“ and the „SPS CareerDrive“ career portal offer industry-specific insights and networking opportunities throughout the year.

Targeted programme for young talents at SPS 2024
SPS 2024 in Nuremberg is aimed specifically at young talent in the automation industry. In addition to the comprehensive range of exhibitors and presentations, a Makeathon will take place on all days of the trade fair, where participants can work on practical projects from leading companies. Exhibitors such as Baumüller and SEW-EURODRIVE will provide tasks and support with hardware, software and supervision. The event is organised in cooperation with ITQ GmbH and new automation e.V.
On the last day of the trade fair, 14 November 2024, the Young Talents Day invites young professionals to gain exclusive insights: Guided tours offer young visitors the opportunity to visit companies such as Bosch Rexroth and Festo and get in touch with experts. The initiative supports young talent in the industry and makes it easier for them to enter the world of automation.
