The application phase for the industry award „Product Innovation in Glass“ 2023 has started. Innovative products from the food and beverage industry that are packaged in glass can still be submitted until 31 May. The award is also celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
With the „Product Innovation in Glass“ award, the Glass packaging action forum honours new, innovative products. In 2023, companies from the food and beverage bottling industry are invited to apply for the industry award for the tenth time. The requirements: The Product must be packaged in glass and should be sold on the German market for the first time between 1 May 2022 and 30 April 2023. have been submitted. Participation - even with multiple submissions per company - is free of charge. The winners will be chosen in September 2023 at the Glass Trend Day of the Glass Packaging Action Forum in Hamburg.
Since the first „Product Innovation in Glass“ award was announced in 2014, numerous companies have submitted products. The list of Award winners range from start-ups to corporations and the products show the enormous range of possibilities for rethinking beverages and food in the interplay of content and packaging. The winners will be supported with a communication package for their own press work.
An independent jury of experts evaluates all submissions, nominates the three best in each of the categories „Small Companies“ (up to 50 employees) and „Medium and Large Companies“ (more than 50 employees) and selects the winner. The presentation of the six Nominees and the announcement of the winners will take place at the Trend Day Glass on 28 September in Hamburg. The winner in the „Audience Favourite“ category will be chosen by the Trend Day participants directly on site.
