The management of the Lauterbach-based STI Group has been reduced to two members. Jakob Rinninger and Andrea Wildies are now at the helm of the provider of promotional displays and intelligent packaging. The previous third managing director, Michael Apel, is leaving the family business.

According to the STI Group, 31-year-old Jakob Rinninger and 50-year-old Andrea Wildies are well placed to refocus the company on its core competences and develop new business models. STI sees itself as Europe's number 1 provider of sales-promoting Displays and intelligent Packaging. Most recently, there had been several changes in the STI management in quick succession. Wildies and Rinninger were only appointed to the then four-member board at the beginning of the year. Other members were Michael Apel and Aleksandar Stojanovic. The latter had already left the management board in March.
Jakob Rinninger comes from the family of Dr Kristina Stabernack and has proven himself as a professional in the consulting and financial environment. Among other things, he worked for the Management Consultancy KPMG. Andrea Wildies is recognised as an expert in the industry and has already worked for several large corporations. The STI Group intends to benefit from her expertise, particularly in the areas of strategy, sales, marketing and Process optimisation benefit.

The STI Group goes back to a craft business founded in 1879 by master bookbinder Gustav Emil Stabernack in Offenbach.
